Biography

My soul thrills among flowers and trees. Northern, Mediterrenean or exotic nature make me feel intensely joyful and alive. As well as colors and art.

I can totally loose myself in painting and forget about time and space.

You'll always find some hints to my passions in my illustrations.

My art Olympus...I love John William Waterhouse, the pre-raphaelites, Scandinavian painters of the 19th Century, the symbolist painters, Flemish painters, ukyio-e and Maxfield Parrish. I'm interested in embroidery and clay modeling too. I will explore these worlds deeper in future I hope.

My life took a different educational path than what I was born for - temporarily, but then I listened to my inner voice and came back to it. I love languages-cultures, above all the Hexagone one (un coup de foudre at the first word I heard!), so I became a French teacher, then a course in Sàrmede in 2010 and a master in children illustration in 2011 at the University of Padova, Italy. This window of wonders shut again, but then reopened some years ago.
And here I am, very happy of trying to let my essence bloom.
